Vietnam and Malta, two geographically separated countries, are gradually getting closer through strategic cooperation initiatives. Within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, held in Ho Chi Minh City. On December 13, a breakthrough proposal was made: establishing direct flights between Vietnam and Malta.<\/p>\n

This is not only a great step forward in expanding transport connectivity but also an important bridge to promote tourism, trade and cultural exchanges between the two countries.<\/p>\n

Malta \u2013 A dream destination in the heart of the Mediterranean<\/span><\/h2>\n

With a modest area of 316km\u00b2, the island nation of Malta welcomes up to 3 million visitors a year thanks to its 300 days of sunshine, UNESCO heritage sites and picturesque turquoise beaches.<\/p>\n

Not only is Malta an attractive destination in Europe, but it has also become a “cultural gateway” that attracts special attention from Vietnamese tourists and businesses.<\/p>\n

The establishment of direct flights between the two countries not only expands the two-way tourism market but also brings great opportunities for businesses to exploit the potential of trade and investment. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long emphasized: “The organization of direct flights from Vietnam to Malta will promote two-way tourism exchanges.”<\/p>\n

“Malta Experience” \u2013 The Gateway to Maltese Culture in Vietnam<\/span><\/h2>\n

Within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the exhibition “Malta Experience” has become the focal point, giving Vietnamese people a comprehensive view of the history, culture and unique heritage values of the island nation of Malta.<\/p>\n

This exhibition is a lively journey where the public can admire the images, historical stories, and unique elements of Mediterranean culture.<\/p>\n

Portico and Bridge is honored to co-organize the exhibition “Malta Experience”, contributing to promoting Maltese culture in Vietnam and creating a foundation for bilateral cooperation opportunities. Malta, as a gateway connecting Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, is a potential partner of Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City \u2013 the economic, cultural and creative center of Vietnam. Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. Nguyen Van Dung affirmed: “Compared to the current potential, there are still many opportunities for the two sides to exploit and develop more strongly.”<\/p>\n

The direct flight between Vietnam and Malta and events such as the “Malta Experience” are a symbol of the spirit of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n

Together with the support of strategic partners, Vietnam and Malta not only build transport bridges but also create a cultural journey, opening up great opportunities for both to develop sustainably in the future.<\/p>\n
