Limassol followed with \u20ac20.9 million (27.6%), Paphos with \u20ac16.1 million (21.2%), Larnaca with \u20ac10.5 million (13.8%), and Famagusta with \u20ac4.5 million (6%).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1166\">The most expensive transactions in each district included:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1167\" data-end=\"1405\">\n<li data-start=\"1167\" data-end=\"1212\">\n<p data-start=\"1169\" data-end=\"1212\">Nicosia: a plot in Engomi \u2013 \u20ac12.5 million<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1213\" data-end=\"1260\">\n<p data-start=\"1215\" data-end=\"1260\">Paphos: a house in Kato Paphos \u2013 \u20ac7 million<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1261\" data-end=\"1314\">\n<p data-start=\"1263\" data-end=\"1314\">Limassol: a property in Katholiki \u2013 \u20ac2.85 million<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1315\" data-end=\"1369\">\n<p data-start=\"1317\" data-end=\"1369\">Larnaca: a field in Agios Nikolaos \u2013 \u20ac2.25 million<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1370\" data-end=\"1405\">\n<p data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1405\">Famagusta: a field \u2013 \u20ac1.2 million<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1407\" data-end=\"1570\">Notably, six of May\u2019s ten most valuable transactions were residential homes. The list also included one plot, two other property types, and one agricultural field.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1572\" data-end=\"1724\">Nationwide, <strong data-start=\"1584\" data-end=\"1637\">22 of the 50 largest transactions involved houses<\/strong>, underlining the strong demand for residential properties in Cyprus\u2019s high-end market.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1726\" data-end=\"1868\">Pavlos Loizou, CEO of Ask Wire, noted that May was the second-best performing month of 2025 for high-value real estate deals, following March.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1870\" data-end=\"1993\">He emphasized: \u201cHalf of the top 50 transactions were above \u20ac1 million, reflecting increased activity across all districts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1995\" data-end=\"2265\">He concluded: \u201cHouses were a defining feature of May\u2019s data \u2014 with six of the top 10 deals involving residential property, and 22 house sales recorded in the top 50 overall.
