On a quarter-over-quarter basis, prices rose by 1.4% and rents by 0.9% \u2013 indicating that the upward trend has resumed after a brief slowdown.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"801\">According to Eurostat, between 2010 and Q1 2025, housing prices in the EU increased by 57.9%, while rents rose by 27.8%. Rent growth was relatively steady, but home prices experienced sharper jumps \u2013 especially from 2015 to 2022 \u2013 and have started climbing again since 2024.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"801\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/documents\/4187653\/20614198\/housse-prices-rents-q1-2010-q1-2025.jpg\/d0fbcf7c-038f-5c33-b8a9-210ddd33cc82?t=1751442519643\" alt=\"House prices and rents in the EU, Q1 2010- Q1 2025, index levels, 2010=100. chart.
