Former USCIS Director Leon Rodriguez has called Jaddou “the most well-prepared candidate in the agency’s history,”. And Senate Judiciary Chairman Richard J. Durbin said about Jaddou “could be the person who is most qualified ever nominated for this position.”
The Biden Administration’s View
Ms. Jaddou’s experience will certainly be helpful in the administration of USCIS and she is expected to be the one to get USCIS back on track. Jaddou is also a pro-immigration advocate with President Joe Biden.
In recent years, USCIS has struggled to manage the growing number of visa applications, resulting in a large backlog of pending cases. EB-5 investors everywhere want these issues resolved and Jaddou’s appointment is certainly a step in the right direction.
