• Have total assets of not less than 500,000 euros, of which a minimum of 150,000 euros must be financial assets;
• Not currently benefiting from other Maltese schemes;
• Does not pose a security threat;

In particular, the Government of Malta does not require applicants to reside in Malta while maintaining their permanent residence card. Investors can still continue to do business in Vietnam.

Malta Permanent Residence Programme (MPRP)

This is a settlement program in the form of investment, in line with the wishes of the majority of investors today. Application processing time is only 8 months. An outstanding advantage of the program is that investors only start making investments after the application has been approved, so it is absolutely safe for investors’ interests.

The budget to join the investment program from €500,000 of which a minimum of €150,000 is the main asset. Investors need to invest at least 5 years in real estate and contribute to the Government. Specifically in one of two ways:

• Buy real estate from €300,000 and contribute €28,000 to the Government
• Lease real estate from €10,000/year and contribute €58,000 to the Government.
